In recognition of National Special Education Day, we want to recognize our great Special Education Teachers! Mrs. Tayla Gottlob is our Birth to 3 Service Provider and K-12 Special Education teacher. She has worked in the district for 6 years. A fun fact about Mrs. Gottlob is she has a son named Greyson and is expecting a girl in March! Her favorite thing about working at White Lake School is working in a small school district where you get to know all the students and grow connections with them all. Thanks for all you do for our kids Mrs. Gottlob!

A fun fact about Mrs. Clites is that she collects all things Elvis and is a big fan of his! Her favorite thing about working at White Lake School is the students she gets to see every day. White Lake is implementing Positive Behavior, Supports and Interventions (PBIS) this school year. Students who demonstrate the qualities of a good KATS (Keeping engaged, Acting responsibly, Treating other kindly, and Showing empathy) earn tickets for a prize drawing at the end of the week. On Thursday, November 20th White Lake School in partnership with Black Hills Special Services put on a Family STEAM Night.

The STEAM event provided students and families with an opportunity to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics through a range of engaging, hands-on activities designed for all ages. The interactive stations encouraged creativity and curiosity, allowing participants to delve into engineering challenges, art projects, and experiments in a collaborative, family-friendly environment.

On Monday, November 24 at 7:00 PM in the Kimball Kanyon Gym, KWL will be hosting our fall sports awards night. Come recognize our great athletes and their accomplishments from this past fall sports season!
