Parents/Grandparents Day
White Lake School District hosted our Annual Thanksgiving Day Parents/Grandparents Day Meal. We had an incredible turnout serving over 250 meals! This incredible day would not have been possible without the help of our incredible food service staff for planning the meal, the custodial staff for preparing the gymnasium, our student leadership group for serving the meal, and of course our wonderful families who joined us today for a great meal.

School Psychologist Week
In honor of National School Psychologists Week, we wanted to share a little more about White Lake School District's School Psychologist, Jaycie Hohn.
*What I do as a school psychologist: *
As a school psychologist, I can wear lots of hats! We are qualified to work with individuals Birth to 21. We partner with parents, teachers, students, doctors and counselors daily to be able to best serve our students. We get to be problem solvers, advocates and helpers as we navigate the Special Education world.
*Why I went into this field: *
I always knew I wanted to work in schools, but didn't want to be a teacher. After undergrad, I was going to go to grad school for school counseling but then I worked with a school psychologist and realized that is what I wanted to do instead- it is a great mix of education and psychology.
*Favorite part: *
My favorite part is getting to work with so many different people. I love that I get to split my time between meetings with adults and kids! I get to do office work with my door closed sometimes and other times I get to be out and about talking with teachers and kids!
Being a school psychologist is so much fun! No day is the same. If anyone has any questions or is interested more in what I do, I would LOVE to talk to you!

Visitor Policy
In an effort to make the safest learning environment possible for students and staff at White Lake School, we have implemented a new guest entry policy. All visitors, including parents, must enter through the secretary office and sign in to receive a visitor's pass in order to go beyond the office. This is during school hours. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to Mr. Gottlob.
