**Kids Heart Challenge is officially ROLLING! **

It's already the middle of Heart Month!!!

The lifelong health of our students is very important to us , and we strive to improve students’ heart health with Kids Heart Challenge!!  The American Heart Association is working hard on the front lines to engage young people early and often as they form lifelong habits, while also working around the clock to ensure every community, including yours, has the latest science and research to be able to respond when we need it most.  Beyond heart attacks, cardiac arrest, congenital heart defects and stroke AHA has a frontline role in rural health, with new blood pressure testing equipment and resources for rural health clinics!

Students going to region high school instrumental contests in Gregory will now be leaving school at 9:00 AM.

Due to extreme temperatures this morning, White Lake School District will be doing a 10 AM start today, Tuesday, February 18th. There will be no breakfast, no junior kindergarten, and no pre-school.

White Lake is implementing Positive Behavior, Supports and Interventions (PBIS) this school year. Students who demonstrate the qualities of a good KATS (Keeping engaged, Acting responsibly, Treating other kindly, and Showing empathy) earn tickets for a prize drawing at the end of the week. The JH game on Monday vs Wessington Springs in Kimball has been moved due to anticipated cold weather. It will now be played in Wessington Springs when our JV/V goes there on Tuesday.

Tuesday's JV/JV/V/V event vs Wessington Springs at Wessington Springs has turned into a JH/JH/JV/JV/V/V event. The schedule is as follows:
