Click on F (for frog) and T and then choose Th-To (for
toad) to answer these questions:
A. What is an amphibian?
B. Are frogs amphibians?
C. Are toads amphibians?
D. Which one has teeth, frogs or toads?
E. Which one has poisonous glands, frogs or toads?
F. What do frogs eat?
G. What do toads eat?
- Open the Internet and type in the following address:
http://allaboutfrogs.org.
You may work with your partner on this, but you both need to
make a diagram on your own computer using Paint.
- Scroll down to Weird Frog Facts,
then click on Frog or Toad, and take
notes on the differences between frogs and toads.
- Using Paint, draw 2 circles, and label the circles (Click on
the Text tool and then click where you want to key in your
labels) Frog, Toad, and the
intersection as Frog & Toad. The Text
tool is the one that has a capital A on it.
- Discuss your findings with a partner and choose 3 facts to
put into the Venn diagram about Frogs and Toads. Click on the
Text tool and then click where you want to key in your facts.
- Save your work in your folder in the Elementary Computer
folder, name it [your name]Frog, and print your work.
- Hand in your papers.
